Please note there is no MovieClub in April due to the Easter break!

Senior MovieClub will be back on Friday 1st May with a very special ‘Award Season’ screening of pure cinematic gold, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”, one of the most highly commemorated and loved films of all time, scooping the Golden Globe and 4 Oscars in 1970 and 8 BAFTAS in 1971. An absolute must-see for any film lover, this special Awards-themed tribute night will be dedicated to a lifetime achievement in film by Paul Newman and is guaranteed to knock your boots off! Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Butch and Sundance are the two leaders of the Hole-in-the-Wall Gang. Butch is all ideas, Sundance is all action and skill. The west is becoming civilized and when Butch and Sundance rob a train once too often, a special posse begins trailing them no matter where they run. Over rock, through towns, across rivers, the group is always just behind them. When they finally escape through sheer luck, Butch has another idea, “Let’s go to Bolivia”.
