GMAC Film is a charity that uses the power of film to transform lives. It creates opportunities for those who might not normally have access to resources for making and watching films. It supports them to discover their creative talents and nurture their skills in this area.

This includes people from low-income backgrounds and groups that are not adequately represented on or off screen. This includes adults and young people living with a disability, black and minority ethnic groups, the LGBTQ+ community, care experienced young people, rurally excluded young people, women and girls.

At least 75% of people who participate in GMAC Film projects come from these groups.

We also offer free and low cost resources to everyone interested in film, and support creative collaboration between the professional industry and the local community.
