Thursday 2 March 7-9pm
At Café Flicker the silver screen’s open to all forms of short film whether its a music video, drama, advert, visual art piece, no longer than 15 minutes long, made by local independent filmmakers. It’s a great place to meet a variety of filmmakers professional and amateur, see what people are making, get feedback on your work in progress and discuss any aspect of film-making. We screen up to 7 films per night and have a vote at the end of the night to select a monthly winner. At the end of the year, all monthly winners are in with a chance of winning our annual ‘Big Flick’ award! Cafe Flicker is a friendly hosted event where everyone is welcome!
We would like to extend congratulations to the joint winners of February’s Cafe Flicker – Melanie Pyne and her film ‘Identity Crisis’ and Ronnie McIntosh and his film ‘Torn’. If you didn’t make it along to February’s event, then you can catch both of these films at the Big Flick in December!
Everyone is welcome at Café Flicker – participating filmmakers and GMAC Members can come along for free, tickets are £3 for all others. We run Café Flicker every 1st Thursday of the month. If you’d like to submit your film, complete a form and send us a DVD or digital video file as per our guidelines to firstname.lastname@example.org :
