Last week, we were thrilled to welcome Becca Lewis as our Sustainability Officer. This role is part of a city-wide project with the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and Circular Glasgow.
“I’m excited to find out how the Net Zero and circular economy ambitions will fit in with the work of the different projects in GMAC!”
Becca’s previous experience includes working with Ayrshire Film Company, Glasgow Women’s Library, 20th Century Flicks Video Shop and volunteering at the Bristol Radical Film Festival. She’s also made props, puppets and lanterns for parades, theatre and short films.
Alongside working at GMAC, she is a freelance arts administrator and workshop facilitator. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Alexandra Park Food Forest and for a DIY Animation Club at Glasgow Zine Library.
The all important final detail – Becca’s favourite film is Summer of Soul (…or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised).
