GMAC Film have been the Glasgow delivery partner of the BFI Film Academy since 2013. The BFI Film Academy prepares 16-19-year olds to work in the film and TV industries. The course also includes a NCFE qualification in ‘Preparing to Work in The Film Industry’

This course is your FIRST step into filmmaking! If you are 16-19 years old and passionate
about film, this is an opportunity for you to get hands-on experience with likeminded
people. You will learn key craft roles from industry mentors including camera, sound
recording, production design and editing. You will then become a film production crew,
working together in departments to create a short film under industry standard
conditions.
You will also work towards gaining the NCFE Level 2 qualification ‘Preparing to Work in
the Film Industry’.

The course is also completely free, lunches will be provided and we always have an abundance of snacks on offer!
