GMAC Action! is an interactive and intensive programme for young people aged-16-25 who are not in education, training or full-time employment.

This programme combines the fundamentals of film-making, youth work and social action, along with opportunities to meet and volunteer with local organisations and community groups based in the Govanhill area.

Over two weeks participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of documentary filmmaking and community engagement. Through our hands-on approach, we will support young people to get hands-on basic camera & sound training and an overview of the post-production process.

We are accepting referrals for young people who meet the following criteria:

· Resident in Glasgow and surrounding areas

· Aged 16-25

· Can attend ALL dates

· Not in full-time education, training or employment

· We will accept referrals from young people who work part-time, volunteer or are on ESOL courses or equivalent
