Selected Filmmakers and Producers for Little Pictures Year 5 are here!
GMAC is excited to announce eight new filmmakers and eight new producers for the fifth year of our talent development scheme, Little Pictures, funded by The National Lottery through Screen Scotland.
The selection process is now complete, and we’re looking forward to connecting new and diverse talent with the Scottish screen sector. Each filmmaker will receive up to £4,000 to complete their short films through the development programme and production support.
The eight commissioned projects range from fiction, documentary, animation and experimental film:

The filmmakers and producers will receive free training, mentoring and support from GMAC to make their first commissioned film. Little Pictures will support them to develop their voice, bring their unique perspectives and experiences into the programme and encouraging them to take creative risks during the making of their films. The programme will provide further support for commissioning and employment opportunities to help kickstart their careers in the Scottish Film industry.
